I bought a "new" radio today - an old Blaupunkt. It has valves which take a few seconds to warm up before the sound of a distant radio station begins to be heard. It's great, and has some very exotic sounding places on the dial.

Yeah, it's really cool and has a lovely sound. I got it in an old secondhand shop just opposite my old flat on St Olofsgatan.
