Renovating my kitchen has been taking up nearly all of my spare time....so here's a photo from the autumn - which seems like long ago. Copyright Ted Morrow 2005
I have been so busy ripping out the old kitchen at my new flat that I haven't been able to take many photos recently...hence this effort. Copyright Ted Morrow 2005
Back in California, I took a short cut round the back of Mount Shasta. Really great views of the peak and there was no-one else on the roads! Copyright Ted Morrow 2005
It was a very long drive from Glacier NP in Canada to Seattle. After a bit of trouble at the border (my J1 visa no longer being valid since I had left work) I soon sighted downtown Seattle. Copyright Ted Morrow 2005
I drove pretty rapidly on up through Wyoming to Teton National Park, the mountains really are dramatic - rising straight out of the ground. Copyright Ted Morrow 2005
Here's one from Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado. If I remember correctly I was being eaten alive by mosquitoes while trying to set this shot up. Copyright Ted Morrow 2005
Well I have made it to Sweden and am online again, so I will be able to post more regularly. Here's a shot from Arches National Park, Utah. More red rock...but not red Copyright Ted Morrow 2005
It was a short drive from Zion to Bryce Canyon National Park. Bryce is an enormous canyon with thousands of these rock pillars and stacks. Utah gets my thumbs up! Copyright Ted Morrow 2005
After Vegas, Zion National Park was my next stop. The red rocks of Utah are so common they even have them on their car licence plates. And the sky was blue! Copyright Ted Morrow 2005
Well here's my first post from my road trip. This one from my first evening at Kelso Dunes in Mojave National Preserve. It's a great place and free camping! Copyright Ted Morrow 2005
My last night in Santa Barbara. Tomorrow I will leave here for a 3 week road trip around the Rockies. I will probably not be able to post any pictures regularly until I get settled in in my new home: Uppsala, Sweden. Copyright Ted Morrow 2005
I feel pretty guilty about my expenditure on camera gear. This is another shot with the Fe body and a used 28mm lens I picked up for $50. The lens is pretty battered on the outside but of course it's the beauty on the inside that counts! Copyright Ted Morrow 2005
My "new" Nikon FE body arrived yesterday so I took a roll of B&W film to test it out. It seems to be great and the overexposure on this shot is my own fault not the meter's. I am looking forward to using it more! Copyright Ted Morrow 2005
