Seattle
It was a very long drive from Glacier NP in Canada to Seattle. After a bit of trouble at the border (my J1 visa no longer being valid since I had left work) I soon sighted downtown Seattle.

Tetons
I drove pretty rapidly on up through Wyoming to Teton National Park, the mountains really are dramatic - rising straight out of the ground.

Bryce Canyon
It was a short drive from Zion to Bryce Canyon National Park. Bryce is an enormous canyon with thousands of these rock pillars and stacks. Utah gets my thumbs up!

Zion
After Vegas, Zion National Park was my next stop. The red rocks of Utah are so common they even have them on their car licence plates. And the sky was blue!

Checker cab
I feel pretty guilty about my expenditure on camera gear. This is another shot with the Fe body and a used 28mm lens I picked up for $50. The lens is pretty battered on the outside but of course it's the beauty on the inside that counts!

F350
My "new" Nikon FE body arrived yesterday so I took a roll of B&W film to test it out. It seems to be great and the overexposure on this shot is my own fault not the meter's. I am looking forward to using it more!
